Facial exercise is just like any other exercise. You have to work them on a very consistent basis and correctly over a period of time to see any results. When you work your face muscles, you will help your muscles with tone, firmness, lift and also boost its volume.
Here are some simple steps and tips for three facial exercises that you can follow at your home easily:
The first thing you have to do is to suck your cheeks in like a fish, hence the name. Make sure your lips are pursed. Now try and smile while maintaining this position. When you are doing this, try and relax the other muscles of your face. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Relax. You have to repeat this exercise three times.
Now, again repeat steps one and two from above, but this time, do not hold the pose but instead, move your cheek muscles up and down 12 times. You must keep your cheek muscles sucked in while doing this. Finally, relax.
Make a face like you are ready to kiss someone. Now, try to smile really hard while maintaining the same pose with your lips pursed tightly. It is important that you keep your eyes relaxed. Hold this position for ten seconds and then relax. Repeat this exercise three times.
Now, repeat step one and two above and then move your cheek muscles 12 times up and down while keeping your lips still pursed. Now, relax.
If you know how to whistle, then this exercise is going to be that much easier for you. Make an O shape with your lips like you are about to whistle. Smile really very hard while still maintaining that O shape with your lips. Hold this position for ten seconds and then relax. You must repeat this exercise three times.
Now, repeat step one and two from above and move your cheek muscles up and down 12 times while maintaining the O shape with your lips. Now, relax.
